The activities we offer are listed in two categories: Courses and Adventures/Events
Ranger Expeditions courses focus on experiential learning, developing confidence and proficiency in outdoor, hill and mountain journeying skills so that you can move forwards with your own independent adventures. Our courses range from introductory to improvers and hill walkers aiming for leadership awards.
Stu Westfield (Ranger Expeditions Leader) is the Mountain Safety Team and Training Event Coordinator for the The Spine Race (268mile Pennine Way Ultra Adventure). Through his varied mountain, expedition and competition experience, Ranger Expedtions offers Ultra Event skills training with special emphasis on the challenges of The Spine Race.
Ranger Expeditions adventures and events offer guided journeys, special interest walks and scrambles in the countryside, hills and mountains of the UK. We do so much more than escort you from point A to B. Here are some examples…
- Environmental & photography themed walks
- Historical & aviation sites in remote areas
- Guided groups, social hill walks & families
- Mountain tops and multi-day journeying
- Challenge events (guide & support)
Ranger Expeditions specialise in training and adventures for individual clients and smaller groups. In training also, individual mentoring is of vital importance for our course participants to make maximum gains and enjoy excellent value for money.
