KINDER SCOUT 2025 LUNAR ECLIPSE

A total lunar eclipse, visible from the UK is a one in two/three year opportunity. Together, at a steady pace, we ascend to the highest vantage point in the Peak District for the best view – the lunar eclipse will be underway as the moor rises over the horizon. While you savour the experience, your guide will serve hot chocolate, freshly pressed coffee, cookies and cheesecake. As the full eclipse transitions to partial, we continue our walk. Journeying past the atmospheric, mysterious shapes of gritstone tors, before descending back to Hayfield.

19:52 Total Lunar Eclipse ends then more exploring

22:00 (approx) arrive back at Bowden Bridge
